Ruel Calalo

Ruel provides developer support of the HandSOn application including its associated Oracle database and of the Student/Faculty Advisor Course of Study Tool (SFACT), which uses the Salesforce platform. Daily tasks include code fixes, implementation of new features, maintenance of code repositories, and administration of software development tools. Prior to joining Stanford, Ruel worked as a senior software engineer at AnimationMentor and Hewlett Packard. He worked on the first prototype Multiple Instruction Multiple Data (MIMD) computers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Lockheed Palo Alto Research Laboratory and interned at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory.
